Juan Salcedo, RMT
Juan Salcedo attended Oxford College, Burlington Campus and graduated in 2016. From 1994 to 2014, Juan worked as Medical Doctor with a specialization in Physiatry, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in Caracas, Venezuela. Having this physical medicine and rehabilitation background, Juan considered Massage Therapy a great option to start his healthcare career in Canada in 2014.
Through the techniques and treatments utilized in Massage Therapy, Juan is passionate about helping patients achieve functionality, pain relief and a better quality of life. Throughout his entire career, Juan has embraced a holistic approach to health and
Juan’s massage therapy skill-set and techniques includes Swedish Massage, myofascial release, cupping, and manual lymphatic drainage- Vodder technique. His overall experience and knowledge converges in his practice as a Massage Therapist and Lymphedema Therapist, allowing him to better assess and treat soft tissue, joints and muscle disfunction towards complete rehabilitation.
When not at work, Juan enjoys listening to music, cooking, going for long walks, bowling, traveling and visiting new places and spending time with his family, especially when he cooks for them.
