Chief Business and Relationship Officer, Erin Crotty, has been a volunteer with Dress for Success Ottawa for over 10 years and in 2017 joined the Board of Directors.
Its mission – to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life – is one that Erin deeply connects with. She believes in giving back to others and our community, and in particular, women. Given her educational and professional background in leadership, professional development, recruitment, business etiquette, and image management, she felt that she could provide value, help and support in their mission through volunteerism.
Volunteering at Dress for Success provides Erin with an incredible sense of pride, joy and gratitude. Whether she is presenting at their annual conference, helping at boutique sale events, providing advice on wardrobe selections that help boost clients’ confidence through the interview process and starting work, or sitting around the Board table with her incredible colleagues – she feels we are making a difference and truly helping women thrive in work and in life.
