As you know, Chiropractic care has been deemed an essential service by the Ontario Government. While our Clinics have been closed with respect to the provision of our regular, daily services, we have been providing acute-emergency Chiropractic care to our patients. Over the past few weeks, we have seen an increased number of emergency cases come to our Clinic due to improper work ergonomics at home.

Due to this issue, CURAVITA Health Group has been hard at work to create a way we can safely connect with you, be of service, and offer help during this period of time to ensure you are able to optimize your home work space to maintain good posture and keep your spine healthy.

We are therefore offering everyone a complimentary, remote work ergonomic assessment and consultation.  Our remote work ergonomic assessment will enable you to fully optimize your home work space no matter where it is – and no matter where we are.

If you would like to get your work posture assessed, you can easily do so by following the steps below:

STEP 1 – Download the Free App on your Phone or Tablet:

STEP 2  – Create a Profile:

Choose one of the signs in options: Google, Facebook, or your phone. Complete the instructions to create your profile. **Please replace any non-English characters from your name to its English equivalent. For example: “è” become “e”, “ç” becomes “c” .

STEP 3 – Take Photos

You may need a partner’s help for this part. We’ll require a standing picture, a right-facing picture and a full-body side picture of you sitting at your desk. You must fit your image within the allotted lines for each picture.

STEP 4 – Select a Professional

At the bottom of the screen where you took your pictures, click “Select a professional”. This is where you’ll enter the following case-sensitive provider code:  TEC3-3JN3-KqL3

Once the provider is successfully connected, you’ll see CURAVITA Health Group appear under “choose professional”. This connects you to our Clinic.

STEP 5 – Send your Images

Return to your profile by clicking on your name at the top left corner of the screen. Click “Send to CURAVITA Health Group.”  Confirm your weight, click “Send to CURAVITA Health Group” again, and select “YES” at the following prompt. Once the images are sent, you’re all set!

OPTIONAL STEP 6 – Sending Images for a Different Person, or Images of an Alternate Work Position

If you work from a sit-stand desk, it may be helpful to send images of that alternate work position. You may do so by creating a second profile for yourself by clicking “add a person”. Simply add the word “standing”  before your first name so that we can differentiate the profiles. Follow the instructions from STEP 2 and add the new standing desk pictures. You can submit images for everyone in your household. Simply “add a person” and start over from STEP 2.

Your Healthcare Professional will be in Touch!

Once we’ve received your pictures, your posture will be analyzed by one of our CURAVITA healthcare professionals. They will contact you by email to schedule a telephone call or a Zoom chat. Pictures will be reviewed daily, so you will hear back within 24 hour of your submission. Together, you and your CURAVITA healthcare professional will look at ways to optimize your home work space to maintain good posture and keep your spine healthy!
